Development Notes

These chapters preserve subsystem designs, implementation investigations, and hardware bring-up notes. They explain why parts of Consortium look the way they do, but some were written before the current manifest, runtime entry macros, or build pipeline existed.

For current usage, begin with the User Guide. When a development note conflicts with the guide or with crate source, the current source is authoritative.
